Paula is a minor character in Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure. She is an older lady who often stands outside of Raphael's apartment. She calls Raphael "Raphie."

Emperor's Treasure
Paula is the first character in Emperor's Treasure that Raphael speaks to. When he first steps out of his apartment, Fondue rushes to Paula's side. Paula does not recognize Raphael in his Phantom R costume and tells him that it seems to be a bit early to be dressing up for the Fête de Paris.
At the beginning of Chapter 10, Paula does recognize Raphael in his costume, and tells him it looks good on him. Raphael wonders if that means Paula realizes he is Phantom R, but he doubts that she will rat him out to the police. Paula disappears after this conversation.
Paris Caper
Paula also appears as an accomplice in Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper called "Madame Paula". She can be promoted to Madame Paula B.
