Showdown by Moonlight is a rhythm game in Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper.
Instructions[]
The player must help Phantom R defeat Napoleon in a sword fight. To do so, Phantom R must parry Napoleon's attacks by tapping either the red or blue icon in time with the music, depending on where Napoleon says he is attacking. When Napoleon shouts "Up!", the player must tap the red icon on the right. When he shouts "Down!", the player must tap the blue icon on the left.
At the end of the song, Napoleon lunges at Phantom R and their swords clash. To overpower Napoleon, the player must repeatedly and quickly tap the screen. If successful, Napoleon will fall back and Phantom R will lash out at him. The opposite of this occurs if the player fails.
