Jerome is a character who appears in Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure and Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper. He pretends to be Phantom R to lure in more customers.

Emperor's Treasure[]
Chapter 5: In Search of Marie[]
Marie and Raphael first see Jerome at Tuileries Garden in Chapter 5. Marie points him out as he runs from Eric. Raphael decides he does not want to get involved.
Later in the same chapter, Raphael overhears Jerome saying that he wants to have a battle between the phony Phantom R and the real one to attract even more customers. Raphael agrees that it is a good idea, so he approaches Jerome. Jerome is shocked to see him, but accepts his challenge, promising to prove that he is the fake. This causes the rhythm game The Faux Phantom R to take place, where Jerome dances and Raphael must copy his moves.
After Raphael defeats him in the rhythm game, Raphael taunts Jerome, who leaves saying he will never admit defeat.
Chapter 7: Saving Marie[]
In Chapter 7, Raphael encounters Jerome once more, who again wants a duel between himself and the real Phantom R. Raphael accepts again, and the rhythm game Return of the Faux Phantom R occurs. Jerome is once again defeated.
Paris Caper[]
Jerome appears in Paris Caper in Chapter 6, M3. Jerome tries to sell tickets by claiming to be Phantom R, but Raphael appears and tells him that he is the real Phantom R. Jerome says that's impossible and promises to prove it on the dance floor. During the chapter, Jerome appears in the rhythm game Friend vs. Faux.
At the end of the chapter, Jerome continues to insist that he is the real Phantom R. Raphael is unimpressed and tells him he is up for a rematch any time.
Jerome also appears in the rhythm game The Faux Phantom R, which is a shortened version of the Emperor's Treasure rhythm game of the same name.
He also appears as an accomplice called "Jérôme, Faux Phantom." He can be promoted to Jérôme, Faux Phantom A.
