Trivia[]

  • The sound effects used when Inspector Vergier fires his guns differ from both the Japanese and international releases:
    • In the Japanese version, the gunshots sound more realistic, and also incorporate the sounds of empty bullet casings hitting the ground.
  • Visual effects differ as well; in the international releases, when Vergier shoots the Chevaliers Diabolique, splotches of green (possibly blood) appear, suspended in midair before fading away. This effect is not present in the Japanese release; instead, a spark effect appears where the bullet strikes the enemies.
  • When the rhythm game begins, Vergier finishes his opening words by saying "After him!", but the text below reads, "To battle!".
  • Vergier vs. the Chevaliers is the only rhythm game that features Inspector Vergier's portrait prior to starting the rhythm game.
    • Vergier's portrait also differs between the Japanese and international releases; in the Japanese version, he is shown holding his gun upwards while facing to the right. In the international releases, he simply crosses his arms while facing forward.
  • While not stated in-game, the D-pad and A button can be used in place of the L and R buttons.
